Week Two preview

The first week of the season is over, and boy! what a couple of exciting matches. Looking into week two, a couple marque matches take to the fore,

The Nogstafarian Krashers escaped with a 2nd half comeback vs a determined chaos roster; Eastside Scrappers 1-0 and now must face their 2nd bash team in a row in the the Taxli Titans whom are looking for their first win.

The Underwerld Underdogs are traveling to the steaming jungles of Lustria, to the city of Lonestar where they will try to get another mark in the win column vs the Lonestar Lizzards.

The Killer Kossacks are coming of a decisive loss to the all-pro, Chaos team: the Brass Citadel Berzerkers. The Kislevites are now headed to Ulthuan to play in a very winnable match vs the injury Elf Union roster the “Raging Pampadours”.

The Black Mountain Thunderers are coming off a devastating loss to their hated Norse rivals the “Vikings of Valor”.

Reports have indicated that Thunderers coach Chuckthulhu hasn’t the war chest to replenish his Dwarven squad with fresh recruits before heading to the Dark Lands to play the Uzkalak Flying Toros; a team who admittedly enjoys killing their hated dwarfven kin.

Back in the Bad Lands, the Southside Squigs will be playing their first home game of the season vs the all goblin and appropriately named “Runt Runners”, who happen to also be coming off a loss themselves. Who will get their first win between them?

Game of the week.

This weeks preview is featuring two undefeated teams.

The first has the perpetually blood bowl bullies of the pitch, the “Vikings of Valor” taking their hard hitting defensive play style to the Chaos Wastes to play in the Brass City vs the Berzerkers.

The Norseman could be at a disadvantage if the random changing pitch and screams of the lost souls gets to them, but Coach Crimdrac, is convinced with his club’s fabulous record of violence (27 casualties caused in 7 games in the regional league) will be able to get it done. The Vikings are facing menacing opponent; whom are also undefeated coming off a destruction of a preseason favorite the Kazan Killer Kossacks. The Tomb Kings are already building a name for themselves as the most defensive team in the league after one game!

Prediction Vikings 2, Berzerkers 1
